Choose who
gets the link.
Finishing a draft and choosing its audience are separate decisions. In the recorded Comic Studio interface, link sharing and Community publication were separate controls too.
What the Share dialog described
The account observation on 21 October 2026 found a “Turn on link sharing” option for an existing draft. The dialog described access for people holding that link, including the comic and its videos with current edits. It also indicated that link access bypasses the review used for Community publication.
That description gives you a reason to review a draft before enabling a link, even when you are not adding it to a public listing. A recipient may pass a link onward. Do not treat a private message containing a shared link as a guarantee that only one person can use it.
What Publish does differently
Publish was a separate action for placement in the Community. Turning on a link and submitting a Community work should therefore remain separate steps in your own notes. A listing can make a work discoverable in a different way from sending a URL to a chosen reader.
These observations do not establish the exact review process, current moderation time, every eligibility rule or the current controls for revocation. Read the settings and audience explanation shown in your project before changing access.
| Decision | What to check first |
|---|---|
| Keep a draft private | Which sharing or publication settings are active now. |
| Enable a draft link | What the link exposes, whether edits remain visible, and who may forward it. |
| Publish to Community | Audience, service requirements, source permissions and the final work. |
| Save a bookmark | A bookmark stores an address; it does not set access or copy someone’s account. |
Make a final distribution note
Record the version you reviewed, the intended audience and the access choice you made. Remove private account information from any screenshot you plan to share. If an export includes another person’s material, return to the permission record before distribution.
This notebook does not enable sharing, publish work or host a Comic Studio draft. Our commercial studio action opens the general creation route, so it cannot serve as a private draft address or a link to your finished story.
